Behind every story, there’s a child and a family who needs hope. The Kidz Horizon Appeal (KHA) aims to transform the lives of vulnerable women and children, including their families.

Our Mission

Established in 2004, the Kidz Horizon Appeal (KHA) is a community of passionate volunteers who dedicate their time and expertise to the KKH Health Fund, by raising funds for the less fortunate.

Our Beginning

2004

Founded by Dr Caroline Low-Heah & Mr Douglas Benjamin

2004

Adopted the KKH Health Fund

2005

Inaugural Charity Gala (Copa de La Vida) raised $567,000

2007

Inaugural Charity Golf raised $180,000

Taking Flight

2009

Received the President’s Social Service Award

2010

Adopted the KKH Hospital Play programme

2014

KKH Hospital Play programme renamed Child Life Therapy (part of CHAMPs*)

2016

The KKH Health Fund became part of SingHealth Fund (with IPC status)

Expanding Horizons

Singhealth Fund was awarded the distinguished Charity Transparency Award

Raised more than $17mil & supported over 3000 beneficiaries over 20 years

The KHA Youth was formed & held its inaugural charity event

The KHA Committee

The KHA Committee is composed of individuals who have dedicated their time and resources over the past 20 years in support of the KKH Health Fund, benefiting needy women and children and their families.

KHA Youth

The KHA Youth began as a couple of friends in their 20s and 30s came together for a warm meal, wanting to expand the scope of what KHA can be about for the next generation.

Events
